Each person has a masterpiece hidden inside themselves; God only creates masterpieces. You can’t be improved, you can only be discovered. To be empowered, you must be transformed so that who you are inside, and who you are outside are the same—this is integrity. At Taproot you will be exhorted not to repress or suppress anything; but to seek clarity via observing, witnessing, and being aware. You can always get to the root problem when you look to the core of your being. If you are confused, then be confused; then you have started the journey.

Don’t compromise your truth for anything or anyone. The root cause of compromise is false power, there’s more important things than controlling everything. Total control makes you rigid (deep down there is hidden turmoil). You can’t control your mind, which makes you cold; it is awareness that transcends the mind. True power is when you can bring joy to another, when you can see their beauty, when you can see the others’ innocence. In order to have this kind of transformation, you must ask the divine to come and lead you on your journey.

You are empowered when you go to the epicenter of your being and see the root cause of your suffering. Thinking positively and putting ourselves to a “higher vibrational emotional state” can be incredibly disempowering if we are denying ourselves our authentic truth. You need to find and tell the story of your wounding, work it through, release its pain, and wake up to who and where you really are. When you ask God for transformation, you must move from seeking, to actually experiencing being powerful in life; only then can there be peace in your heart, family, and the world.

We are all empowered by sovereign grace.
